Ryedale Folk Museum had a very popular blog. This was deleted without warning. I aim to restore the blog & Youtube videos as a tribute to staff members & volunteers, especially those no longer with us.
This Union Flag was kindly donated to the museum by Peter Brears the food historian and author. The flag is in remarkably good condition and dates from the 1930's. It is being held by the museum's collection manager Helen. Jonathan S
